Course Material

Courses are organized to follow published, proven study methods which provide an organized growth path for learning the selected instrument.  The materials presented in these study guides are enhanced by teaching the student popular songs, which use the methods taught in the study guides.

The introductory course materials are:

Guitar: Progressive Guitar Method (Rhythm, Lead, Funk)

Vocals: Hal Leonard Teen's Musical Theater Collection

Piano: Schaum' Finger Power, Pre-Time/Play-Time Piano Series

Blast-off to Music: Alfred’s Prep Beginner Theory, Bastien Piano Basics Primer

The school recognizes that the student takes these courses for recreational purposes. To enhance learning, the school will assign homework at each lesson. For maximum growth, the student should practice these assignments.

Missed Lessons

If the teacher misses a weekly lesson, the teacher shall provide an alternate make-up lesson.  If the missed lesson causes the student to receive less than four (4) lessons for that month and if a make-up lesson cannot be agreed upon, the student’s tuition will be refunded for the missed lesson. The refund shall be offered as a deduction from following month’s tuition.

If student calls 24 hours in advance to reschedule a lesson, then teacher will make an effort to reschedule the missed lesson, if missing the lesson causes the student to receive less than four (4) lessons for that month.
